Glam Rags 2014 Special Montage

April 15, 2014

The Glam Rags Pageant concluded on a high for our participating teams and crew last Saturday, 22 March. Held in conjunction with the Kaplan Open House, the 8 teams held their own in various creations and the crowds were treated to the creativity and inspired designs of the teams.

The first prize of $250 went to Team Bumble Bee who made brilliant use of soda can openers to make intricate accessories such as belts, tie and necklaces. 2nd prize winners were Team Go! Green Peace who were innovative in their use of thrash bags and recycled paper cups to decorate a plain canvas bag to much aplomb. The third prize went to Team Haze who had an interesting concept of inculcating Chinese culture into their designs through the use of recycled wrapping paper from flower bouquets.

Team Haze won best model and Team Capable won best design for their evening gown made out of Christmas décor and newspapers. Click here for some picture highlights of the event organized by the Kaplan Student Affairs and Graduate Services and the Kaplan Student Committee.
